Describe the story — who, where, what happened — plus the sound you want (acoustic guitar, fiddle, pedal steel, a warm or twangy voice), and HeartMuLa writes the lyrics and sings a full country song in about 1–2 minutes. Or paste your own lyrics and it sings those.
Your first song is free — no card needed. Each song takes about 1–2 minutes and comes in two versions.

How to describe a country song
Tell a story
Country lives on specifics: a dirt road, a small-town diner, a truck, a porch, a name. One concrete scene beats a list of moods.
Name the instruments
Acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, pedal steel, harmonica, twangy electric guitar. Two or three are enough to set the sound.
Pick the feel
Slow and nostalgic, a stomping singalong, a heartbreak ballad, a honky-tonk two-step. Say it in plain words.
Choose the voice
Warm male vocal, bright female vocal, gravelly, a duet. Don't name a real singer — describe the voice instead.
Got lyrics already?
Tap “I have lyrics” in the form and paste them; [Verse] and [Chorus] tags help, and they're sung as written.
Try both versions
Every song comes back twice. Listen to both — they usually differ in melody and voice — and keep the one you like.
What you get (and what you don't)
- One free song when you sign up, and another each week if you check in daily. After that, a one-time pack (from $4.99 for 3 songs) or a plan (from $9.99 a month).
- Every song is a full track with vocals, often 1½–4 minutes, and you get two versions to choose from.
- Listening and sharing are free. Downloading MP3s needs any purchase; after that there is no monthly download cap.
- Songs made while you are on the Pro or Business plan can be used commercially (YouTube, releases, ads, client work) and stay licensed after you cancel. Songs made on Free, Starter or with packs are for personal use.
- Real artist names usually make the song fail — describe the sound instead (instruments, voice, era). The form suggests a rewrite if you type a name.
- The web app runs a hosted AI music model. It is a different product from the open-source HeartMuLa model.
Questions
Is the AI country song generator free?
Your first song is free when you sign up, with no card needed, and you can earn another each week by checking in daily. After that, songs come from a one-time pack (from $4.99 for 3) or a monthly plan.
Can it sing my own country lyrics?
Yes. Tap “I have lyrics”, paste them and choose the sound. The vocals sing your lyrics as written; very long or dense lyrics may skip a line or two.
Can I make it sound like a famous country singer?
Leave real artist names out — they usually make the song fail. Describe the sound instead: “gravelly baritone, 90s country, pedal steel and fiddle” gets you much closer than a name.
Can I put the song on YouTube or release it?
Songs made while you're on the Pro or Business plan can be used commercially, including monetized YouTube and releases, and stay licensed after you cancel. Songs made on Free, Starter or with packs are for personal use. AI music may not be accepted by every distributor or Content ID system.
How long are the songs?
Most are 1½–4 minutes — full songs with verses and a chorus. Making one takes about 1–2 minutes.
