How Our Free AI Music Generator Works
Describe Your Music
Write a prompt describing the song you want — include mood, genre, tempo, and any specific instruments. Our AI understands natural language, so just describe your vision.
Generate with AI
HeartMuLa turns your description into a complete song with vocals and instruments in about 1–2 minutes — and you get two versions to choose from.
Listen & Share
Play both versions, keep your favourite and share the link anywhere. Downloads unlock with any purchase — after that you can download every song you make as MP3.

Free AI Music Generator FAQ
Is HeartMuLa really free?
Yes. Sign up with Google or email and you get 12 credits — enough for one complete song, no credit card needed. Check in every day for a week to earn another song, and share a song once for one more. Free songs can be played and shared; downloading needs any purchase.
How many songs can I generate for free?
Each song costs 12 credits, so your sign-up credits make one song (with two versions to choose from). Check in daily for 7 days to earn 12 more credits, and share a song once for another 12. Want more? One-time credit packs never expire, and plans start at $9.99 a month for about 12 songs.
Can I use free AI music commercially?
Songs made with free credits are for personal use — so are songs made on the Starter plan or with credit packs. Commercial use comes with the Pro and Business plans. (The separate open-source HeartMuLa model, which you run on your own hardware, has its own Apache 2.0 licence.)
What genres can I create for free?
All genres are available for free users — Pop, Rock, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Classical, Ambient, Lo-Fi, Country, R&B, and many more. There are no genre restrictions on free accounts.
Do I need to install anything?
Nothing to install — HeartMuLa runs in your browser. Sign up, use your free credits and make your first song. If you'd rather run the separate open-source HeartMuLa model yourself, you'll need a GPU with 24GB+ VRAM.
How is HeartMuLa different from other free AI music generators?
Describe a song or paste your own lyrics and you get a complete song with vocals in about 1–2 minutes, with two versions every time. Any purchase unlocks unlimited MP3 downloads of all your songs, and unused credits don't disappear: pack credits never expire and plan credits roll over. HeartMuLa also publishes a separate open-source model you can run on your own GPU.
