Yes, to start: you get a free song when you sign up and another each week for checking in daily. After that, pick a plan or a one-time pack. The open-source model is free to run on your own GPU.
How does HeartMuLa compare to Suno?
Suno is a closed cloud service. HeartMuLa's web app runs in the cloud too, but unused credits never reset and, after any purchase, downloads have no monthly cap. If you want, you can also run the open-source HeartMuLa model on your own hardware.

Songs made on Free, Starter or with credit packs are for personal use. If you run the separate open-source HeartMuLa model yourself, its Apache 2.0 licence applies.
How does text to music AI work?
In the web app you describe the mood, genre and style — or paste your own lyrics, optionally with structure tags like [Verse] and [Chorus] — and a hosted AI music model writes the melody, vocals and arrangement (and the lyrics, if you didn't bring any). You get two versions in about 1–2 minutes. The separate open-source HeartMuLa model (a Transformer with the 12.5 Hz HeartCodec, songs up to about 6 minutes) is a different product you can run on your own GPU.
