Jesus Heard My Plea Jesus I wanna thank you, I wanna tell you, I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea. I'm so lost don't know how to come back.. Seen a Million miles of the World and I'm not impressed. Lost my mind and became depressed. Everyone I Knew ran away, or left. T hats the news of the day. As I sat on a Bus stop Bench A old man began to speak to me and these are the things he said. I was told about a man that lived long ago, Funny thing is he is still alive. I was told he came here to Earth to save my soul. How can this be How can I trust How can I know?. Jesus I wanna thank you I wanna tell you I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea. Jesus if your there tell me, show me, did you really die for me? I wanna know. I wanna know is possible that I might have really been loved that much. Jesus speak to me tell me I'm a man that you have made and love. Tell me there's hope for me. I closed my eyes that night I fell into a deep sleep. Jesus came to me that night. And here is what he told me. I was sent by my Father to pay the price for your sins. Past Present and all to come its paid in full. I took the pain I endured the Cross so that you might have mercy. Jesus I wanna thank you I wanna tell you I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea His visit was short and sweet as I seen the holes in his hands and feet. Tears rolled down my face as I knew that never had anyone showed me this kinda love. I saw the smile and I felt the joy of knowing the only true God. I felt Love I felt compassion for him. He felt love and grace for me. Jesus I wanna thank you I wanna tell you I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea So my question is answered and my quest to know if anyone cares about me is over. I have my answer it came at 3:32 am. As I lay in that lonely hospital bed. You see the years had rolled by and time had came to an end for me. Jesus I wanna thank you I wanna tell you I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea I was 83 and my life had not been lived in a way that gave God honor. My life had been spent on things that would never matter. But now I know that there is hope for me because Jesus came and gave me grace. I didn't earn it I couldn't buy it. It was a gift just for me. Jesus I wanna thank you I wanna tell you I wanna be with you, I want to thank you. Oh Jesus Hear my plea So as I make that journey and head towards Heaven I will be comforted that I'm counted with the Lords people. My past present and future is erased. My sins are covered by Grace. I'm headed through the pearl gates I'm gonna see Jesus now. Can you hear me can you tell I'm alive forever with Jesus.
