[Verse] Some of my favorite memories with my mom are the trips we took growing up, traveling the world and flying to Hawaii together to visit my sister, and singing at the top of our lungs in the shower when I was barely four years old, a moment I can still hear to this day. She took me to get my nails done, drove me and my friends to the mall, came to every one of my games, took me homecoming and prom shopping, bought me a horse, and made everything feel like an adventure. I was the wild child who gave her a hard time and earned her the full definition of the word "mom" 😂, and we still laugh about how she had to put a lock on my closet when I was two or three because I loved playing dress up and came out every two minutes in a brand-new outfit with all my clothes pulled down behind me. But what I love most is who she is: a true child of God with not one inch of judgment in her, a woman who will get on her knees and pray for you like no one else, who opens her home for Bible studies and built nonprofits to help people get back on their feet and closer to God. We have done everything together, and every memory with her is one of love. And my siblings and everyone else will tell you the same thing to this day: if she ever has a problem, I am the one she calls, because I am the one who will be up and ready at 2 or 3 a.m., the feisty one who will go to war with anyone who crosses my mama. She knows I am the feistiest child out of all of us, and that I am her ride or die. [Chorus]
